Welcome to Brooke's EME 2040 Blog
I plan to learn new ways to use technology in my daily life in this class. I am not the best at using technology, and I understand that I will need to learn how to use it for future reference. I will apply this newfound understanding of technology to making lesson plans for my students. I will also use it to help my students learn how to use the technology I have learned about as well.
I have previously used Canvas and Canva in other college classes over the years. I have gotten the hang of them, somewhat, but still struggle now and then. I can navigate them to some degree, but not as well as I would like. Even so, I can do my assignments with little struggle using these apps.
I love to learn about anything involving English. I love Literature and words the most and become excited when I learn something new. My biggest hobby is reading. This ties into my love of English. I also love to sing, draw, and write. I am very absorbed in the arts. I usually use Google or Reddit when I need to learn something new. Google has all the answers, and Reddit is the best place to find guides from other people's previous mistakes and understanding.
Hi Brooke! I am also not a very tech savvy person but am also planning on using my knowledge from this class in the future especially in the classroom. Canva is an awesome program for designing things, it took me a little bit to you get used to and super comfortable with, I recommend just going on there and practicing using different tools and things to be more comfortable with the site! I also enjoy english and reading, what kind of books do you like to read?
